Keto buns are a delicious alternative to the regular buns. If you want to get the same feeling of eating a delicious upsized Burger which is low calorie and delicious at the same time then you must definitely try out these Keto Buns.It only takes 2 minutes to prepare these delicious Keto Buns, yes you read that right only 2 minutes.These are prepared in the Microwave and believe me the result is awesome. There is no eggy flavour at all. The bun might be a bit dense but it tastes great.Maybe this can become your new 2-minute favourite snack!
Ingredients
Ingredients for Keto Bun (Makes 1 Bun only)
- 3 tbsp Almond Flour/Almond Meal
- 2 tbsp Grated Cheese
- 1/2 tsp Oregano
- 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 Egg
- 1.5 tbsp Oil
- Pinch of Salt
Ingredients for Keto Burger Patty (Makes 5-6 Patties)
- 500 gms Beef Mince You may use Chicken Mince if you like
- 3 tbsp Parsley Finely Chopped
- 2 tbsp Mustard Paste
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp Pepper Powder
- Salt According to taste
Instructions
Instructions for Keto Bun (Makes 1 Bun only)
- Mix all the dry ingredients together in a bowl (Cereal Bowl should be good)
- Add the Egg and the Oil
- Now whisk with a fork just as you would for making an Omelette
- Let it rest for 1-2 minutes
- Now Microwave it for 90-120 seconds until done
- The mixture will take the shape of the bowl
- Now cut it from the middle and toast it slightly each side on a pan with some butter
- Your Keto Buns are ready, put your Beef Patty, Cheese and some veggies to make it look like a Gourmet Burger
Ingredients for Keto Burger Patty (Makes 5-6 Patties)
- Combine all the ingredients together and refrigerate for about 15-20 minutes
- Make round patties and shallow fry until cooked on each side
