Special Channa Chaat

Benetta Lobo
Chaat is a very popular savoury snack in the Sub-Continent. It is a combination of tangy and spicy flavours and is a very popular Street Food. You can find Carts selling Chaat outside Schools, Colleges, main Bazaars etc. The base of this snack is the Chickpeas but its the different chutneys and spices that take your Chaat to the next level. Some people prefer their Chaat to be spicy while others tend to like it on a more sweet and tangy flavour. The perfect Chaat will have a balanced blend of spicy, sweet and tangy. The Papri adds the crunch element to the Chaat making the experience all the more flavourful. There are many variations of the Chaat, but this one is my favourite as it is quite similar to the ones that you get at some of the most popular Chaat Walas in Karachi.
