Slims/Aaloo Lachha
Slims/Aaloo Lachha
Slims is a spicy potato snack which is very popular in Pakistan. Through my Indian friends I came to know that similar snacks or chips are also available in India popularly called Aaloo Lachha. Slims can be eaten by itself or it can be used for garnishing food such as Daal, Khousay, Soup etc. After we moved to Australia, I tried my best to find these chips at the Indian/Pakistani Grocery stores. They were simiar chips/snacks but nothing close to Slims. Slims has a unique spicy and tangy flavour and is quite addictive. Hence after many attempts, I managed to create the perfect spicy Slims at home which reminds me of the ones I used to have in Karachi. So all the Slims fans who are unable to find these chips in their locality can give this recipe a go and enjoy the spicy tangy flavour of this very addictive chips.
