I had previously posted the Recipe of the dry style Prawn Masala and received some very good response from you all. I am posting another delicious Prawn recipe which is Gravy/Curry style. This is again a very simple yet delicious dish. You can have it with Rotis, Naans or even Rice.
If you add some butter to the gravy at the end it will give you a creamy texture and will be absolutely delicious. If you are a Sea-Food fan then this dish is definitely a must try.

Ingredients
  

Ingredients for Marination

  • 500 gms Prawns Cleaned and washed
  • 1 tbsp Ginger & Garlic Paste
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • Salt According to taste

Ingredients for Gravy

  • 1 tbsp Ginger & Garlic Paste
  • 2 Onions Finely Sliced
  • 3 Tomatoes Chopped
  • 4-5 Green Chillies
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
  • Salt According to taste

Ingredients for Garnishing

  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tsp Dried Fenugreek Leaves Kasuri Methi
  • 2 tbsp Coriander Leaves Chopped
  • 1 tbsp Green Chillies Chopped

Instructions
 

  • Firstly marinate the Prawns for about 15-20 minutes with all the above ingredients
  • Now shallow fry the Prawns until cooked, please don't over cook
  • Keep the prawns aside in a separate dish
  • Pour some Oil in a deep dish and sauté the Ginger & Garlic Paste until fragrant
  • Now add the Onion and fry until golden brown
  • Add all the spices and fry for another 1-2 minutes until well mixed
  • Now add the chopped Tomatoes and the Green chilies and mix well
  • Cover the dish for about 5 minutes and let the tomatoes cook on slow flame so that it becomes tender and blends in the gravy
  • Now remove the cover and cook the gravy on high flame so that the gravy is smooth and all the ingredients are well blended
  • Add the Prawns to the gravy and mix well for about 1 minute
  • Cover the dish and let the Prawns cook for about 1-2 minutes
