Gajar Ka Halwa
Gajar Ka Halwa
Gajar ka Halwa or Carrot Halwa is a favourite Desi Meetha in Pakistan. This Carrot pudding is a rich and flavourful Dessert. Since it is a warm and comforting Dessert, people usually enjoy it during winters but I can enjoy this lovely Meetha anytime of the year! The ingredients I have used in this recipe are quite simple as I think that no matter how rich this dish may be, the Carrots should be remain the Hero of the dish. The Khoya/Mawa balances the sweetness of the dish hence it is suggested to use Khoya/Mawa generously. There are very few Desserts which I enjoy, and hands down Gajar ka Halwa is amongst the top. Do give this recipe a try and I am sure you will WOW everyone at home as it will taste just like the Mithai wala Gajar ka Halwa.
