Choc Chip Cookies (Low Carb/Keto friendly)
I don't think I know of anyone who doesn't enjoy cookies and that too chocolate chip cookies. Chocolate Chip Cookies have always been my favourite Cookies. In Karachi I remember there was a brand called Smile biscuits and my sister and I used to love it. Only when I started my health and wellness journey did I find out the number of calories and carbs these cookies contained. So I thought of preparing these Keto friendly delicious Chocolate Chip cookies which are moorish and also guilt free.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Almond Flour/Almond Meal/Coconut Flour
- 2-4 tbsp Chocolate Chips You may alternatively use Sugar free Chocolate Chips
- 2 tbsp Stevia/Sweetener You may also use Brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/8 tsp Baking Powder
- 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter (Melted)
- 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
- 2-3 tsp Milk Can use either Full Cream or Skim Milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325° F
- Mix all the dry ingredients together first
- Now add the melted butter, vanilla essence and milk to the dry mixture to form a sticky dough
- Shape into round cookies (Makes around 10 small or 5 large cookies)
- Place parchment paper on a baking tray
- Now place the cookies on the tray in a distance
- Bake for about 10-12 minutes
- Now remove from the oven and let it cool down for 10 minutes before handling, as they are very delicate but once they cool they will turn harder
- Enjoy these guilt free cookies with a nice cup of Tea or Coffee
