Meet the Pardesi

Hey everyone!

This blog is very personal and close to my heart . I am extremely passionate about cooking Authentic Desi food and Pakistani Street food and would love to share my recipes and cooking techniques with all of you.

I am a Pakistani migrant living in Perth, Australia and I love everything about this City and the people here. I work for a Landscaping Supplies Company in their Business Development team and have previous experience of being in the Human Resources field.

Cooking for me has always been my getaway; my magical carpet that would take me to the Streets of Karachi and remind me of the spicy, aromatic and flavourful food.

My husband runs a Kebab Shop in Perth by the name of Angry Chicken and both of us have introduced some authentic Pakistani Boti Tikkas, Paratha Rolls and the infamous Karachi Deghi Biryani which is actually quite a crowd pleaser.

My son loves Pakistani food and also helps me in the kitchen. He is quite a foodie and is always looking for a new recipe that we both can try out together.

My family and I love our Desi food and it is something that we will always savour and we aim to promote it as much through this blog and also via our restaurant!
