Pour some oil and fry the Potatoes until golden
Remove the Potatoes once cooked
Now add the onions to the same oil and fry until golden
Add the meat and fry until the meat changes its colour
Add the Ginger & Garlic Paste and fry the Meat for 2-3 minutes
Now add all the spices and salt and fry until the spices are well blended
Add the Tomato puree and fry the meat again until the oil separates
Now add the yogurt and mix well for about 3-4 minutes
Add around 1 cup of water and cover the dish and let the Meat cook on medium flame
Once the Meat is cooked add the Potatoes that were fried and kept aside
Now give it a stir, cover the dish and let the potatoes simmer in the gravy for 5 minutes
Add the Green Chillies and stir again
Now cover the dish and let the gravy simmer for 1-2 minutes on medium-low flame
At the end garnish the Aaloo Gosht with some Coriander/Mint Leaves
Serve with white boiled Rice or Chapatis.
