Dahi Puri is a snack, originating from the Indian sub continent which is a popular Street food in India. The dish is a form of Chaat and has gained quite a lot of popularity at the Chaat outlets in Karachi. It is served with mini-puri shells (golgappa), which are more popularly recognized from the dish pani puri. Dahi puri and pani puri chaats are often sold from the same vendor. One of the distinct features of any type of chaat is that it has a combination of tangy, sweet, spicy and crunchy all in one dish which makes it all the more exciting and mouth watering. For this dish I have prepared the mini-puri shells (golgappa) at home (recipe is mentioned below) as it is quite simple to make. You may also use the ready made ones available at the Indian stores.
