Wash the Chicken well and make deep gashes on the Chicken
Put all the ingredients of the Marinade in a jar/dish and blend to form a thick smooth paste
Now rub the paste all over the chicken and make sure that you put the marinade in between the gashes
Now cover the dish and let the Chicken marinate for atleast 3 hours
You may also marinate this Chicken overnight
After marination, the first step is to steam the Chicken
Chicken needs to be steamed for about 20-25 minutes on medium flame
After the Chicken is steamed, let the Chicken cool down completely
In the meanwhile, heat Oil in a large Wok/dish
Once the Chicken has cooled down it needs to be deep fried for about 5-8 minutes on each side or until cooked and crispy on the outside
If you are looking for a healthy option you may also Air fry the Chicken or Bake the Chicken in the oven
Chargha is ready, squeeze some lemon juice over it and sprinkle some Chaat Masala
Serve with some Salad and Raita with Naans/Rotis
